What do I need to do to stay in the Honors College?

Honors College students need to make progress towards an honors degree and maintain a GPA of 3.30 or above. To progress towards the degree, students must take at least one honors course of any kind each academic year, not counting full semesters during which students study abroad. Honors College students who do not take at least one honors course in an academic year or whose GPA drops below 3.30 for two consecutive semesters will no longer be provided with Honors supplemental advising or be guaranteed the option of completing a thesis or scholarly work under faculty supervision.
