What does my Honors admissions decision mean?

Students will receive one of three decisions for their Honors admission decision. Each decision is briefly described below:

Admit

Congratulations! This means you are admitted to the Honors College at Purdue. Please follow the detailed instructions outlined in your email to accept your Honors College offer.

*Please note: It may take up to 48 hours after you accept your Purdue offer of admission to be able to accept your Honors College offer. If it has been more than 48 hours and you are unable to accept your offer, please send us a message.

Deny

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you admission to the Honors College at this time. If you are still interested in joining the Honors College, you can view additional information on how to apply after your first semester at Purdue here.

Waitlist

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you admissions to the Honors College at this time. A spot for you may become available during the summer. If one does become available, we will notify you directly via email. You should proceed as if you are not admitted into the Honors College. The waitlist will be held until June 15, at which time all decisions will be finalized.
